Russian airline’s plane makes emergency landing in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A passenger airplane Boeing 767-300 of the Russian airline Nordwind Airlines, which was flying from Bangkok to Ufa on Wednesday, 4 December 2013, made an emergency landing in Uzbekistan.
The airplane made the emergency landing in the Uzbek capital due to problems with engine. The plane landed in Tashkent at 9:30 on Wednesday morning, Interfax reported.
According to evidences of the passengers, the airplane had problems at departure time at Bangkok. The airplane Boeing-767-300 could fly from the first attempt. The passengers had to leave the airplane and after repair works were invited back to the board. The aircraft gained the altitude this time, Uralinformbyuro said.
There were about 300 passengers on the board. All passengers stayed at transit zone of Tashkent airport.
Specialists of technical service of Tashkent airport eliminated problems of the airplane. On Wednesday evening, the flight flied from Tashkent and landed in Ufa on Thursday.
However, about 30 people refused to fly at the airplane and stayed in Uzbekistan. They will have to reach their homes on their own.
