Gallup: Citizens of Uzbekistan are satisfied with freedom to choose

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Citizens of Uzbekistan are satisfied with the level of freedom in the country, according to data of the US firm Gallup.
According to survey, conducted by Gallup, about 92% of citizens of Uzbekistan were satisfied with freedom to choose in 2013.
New Zealand was on the first place on number of satisfied citizens (94%). Australia, Cambodia and Sweden (93%) shared the 2-4 places.
The UAE, Austria, Netherlands and Uzbekistan shared 5-8 places with 92%. Canada, Iceland, Finland and Denmark were on 9-12 places with 91% of satisfied population.
The United States, where number of satisfied citizens was 91%, now holds 36th place with 79% of satisfied population, Gallup said.
Egypt claimed the first place on number of unsatisfied people (34%). Greece (30%), Italy (24%), Venezuela (20%) and Cyprus (17%) followed the Egypt.
Gallup asks people in more than 120 countries each year whether they are satisfied or dissatisfied with the freedom to choose what they do with their lives. The company studies peculiarities of relations of the citizens of various countries to fundamental values.
