Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 9 April, law enforcement bodies of Tashkent city revealed 543 cases of non-compliance with the quarantine regime.
Moreover, 362 of them did not have medical masks. At 2 retail outlets they didn’t keep social distance, and 179 people, who weren’t working anywhere, rode around the city on bicycles without having an urgent need to go for food or medicine.
A medical mask and gloves are necessary in order to protect not so much the person as many others from him - no one can be sure that he is not infected with coronavirus. That is why, during the patrolling of the city, employees of the Tashkent Central Internal Affairs Directorate, the National Guard and other law enforcement agencies remind people of the importance of observing quarantine rules, explain why it is so important now to try not to leave the house, how to wear a mask and why even those who need it healthy, and also explain that you can not throw used medical masks and gloves on the ground.
Citizens are also reminded that now the epidemic situation dictates the rules, and for the sake of their own health, for the safety of your loved ones and other people, you need to minimize access to the street. Cycling should also be justified: for groceries or to the pharmacy, if it is impossible to buy within walking distance; to work if you are really heading to work.
Concerning these persons, the protocols on violations stipulated by Article 54 “Violation of the rules for combating epidemics” of the Administrative Code were drawn up and administrative measures were applied in accordance with the sanctions of these articles.
