CBU registers four credit unions in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Bank of Uzbekistan registered four new credit unions in various regions of the country, the financial market regulator said.
The bank issued licenses to Bunyodkor invest (Andijan city) with the charter capital of 34 million soums and Izzat Ravshan (Termez city) with the authorized capital of 35 million soums.
Tashkent-based Saxovat with the charter capital of 70 million soums and Davron effect invest (Ferghana city) with the charter capital of 40 million soums also received the licenses.
New credit unions will focus on financing of business projects of small businesses and individual entrepreneurs. They will also render leasing services.
