Tashkent Court Issues Verdict in Credit House Case

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Yakkasaray District Criminal Court of Tashkent has delivered its verdict in a case involving the company Credit House.

Nine individuals were found guilty under several articles of the Criminal Code, including fraud, causing property damage through deception or abuse of trust, violations of trade or service provision rules, and abuse of authority within a non-state commercial organization.

According to the court’s decision, the defendant identified as D.B. was sentenced to nine years in prison. B.Kh. received a sentence of eight years and one month. A fine amounting to 234.5 base calculation units was imposed on A.Sh.

Defendants K.T., G.M., B.A., and Sh.M. were sentenced to various prison terms ranging from 6.5 to nine years. For some of the convicted individuals, including K.T., R.G., and Sh.R., the sentences were suspended with a probation period of three years.

The court also ordered the convicted individuals to compensate the victims for material damages.

The verdict follows a criminal investigation that established unlawful activities related to financial violations and abuse of official authority within a non-state structure.
