Tashkent Region Reaches Agreements on 36 Investment Projects in China

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of Tashkent region led by Deputy Hokim Jamshid Bobojonov is on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, where it is holding negotiations with representatives of business communities and major companies.

According to the results of the visit, the sides discussed expanding cooperation in agriculture, mining, construction, electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals, and tourism.

As a result of the talks, preliminary agreements were reached on cooperation in 36 investment projects with their initiators.

It is noted that the implementation of these agreements is expected to contribute to increased investment inflows, job creation, and the expansion of export potential in the region.

Within the framework of the Uzbekistan–China Interregional Cooperation Forum, the deputy hokim also presented the investment and tourism potential of Tashkent region.

During the presentation, international partners were introduced to the region’s economic opportunities, investment climate, and promising tourism projects.
