Uzbek youth athletes win six medals at Asian Championships

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s youth athletics team delivered a strong performance at the Asian U20 Athletics Championships, held from 28 to 31 May in Hong Kong, winning a total of six medals.

The Uzbek athletes secured one gold, one silver, and four bronze medals across various disciplines.

The gold medal was won by Ruslan Sadullayev in the javelin throw event.

The silver medal went to Timur Nasimov in the 5000-metre race.

Bronze medals were earned by Sadafbonu Nusratilloeva, who finished third in both the 5000 metres and the 3000 metres steeplechase, Dilnoza Khoshimova in the 3000 metres, and Sarvar Meyliyev in the long jump.
