Uzbekistan and Poland Eye Deeper Trade and Investment Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan and Poland are preparing a fresh round of business diplomacy, with both sides committing to accelerate direct commercial contacts and advance joint economic projects.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Amirsaid Agzamkhojayev held talks with the leadership of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, discussing prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation across trade, investment, and humanitarian spheres. The Polish delegation was led by Chamber President Andrzej Arendarski, joined by Vice President Andrzej Szumowski and adviser to the Chamber's head Jarosław Podolski.

The meeting reviewed the current state of Uzbek-Polish relations and examined avenues for deepening business ties and stepping up contacts between the two countries' entrepreneurial communities. The Polish side expressed clear interest in broadening cooperation and underlined the importance of building a sustained dialogue between the business communities of both nations.

Dedicated attention was given to planning upcoming bilateral events, business meetings, and delegation exchanges — the practical machinery through which trade relationships are typically converted into commercial deals.

Both sides concluded by agreeing to intensify engagement between business circles, expand direct contacts, and promote mutually beneficial economic projects.
