Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–March 2026, Uzbekistan commissioned 3.3 million square meters of housing, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The figure increased by 6.6% compared with the same period in 2025, indicating continued growth in construction activity across the country.

The largest volumes of housing commissioning were recorded in Tashkent Region, with 458,300 square meters, followed by Khorezm Region with 330,400 square meters and Bukhara Region with 313,200 square meters. Significant figures were also reported in Fergana Region at 309,200 square meters and Surkhandarya Region at 301,300 square meters.

In the city of Tashkent, 296,700 square meters of housing were commissioned. Other regional figures include Namangan Region with 280,200 square meters, Kashkadarya Region with 239,200 square meters, and Navoi Region with 170,700 square meters.

The lowest volumes of housing commissioning were recorded in Syrdarya Region at 40,400 square meters and Samarkand Region at 114,300 square meters.
