Tourist flow from Türkiye to Uzbekistan increases by almost 58%
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first two months of 2025, 22,500 Turkish citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
Compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 8,300 people, marking a 57.8% rise.
The primary reasons for Turkish citizens traveling to Uzbekistan were business trips, tourism, and family visits.
Specifically, 9,396 people entered the country for business-related purposes, 6,884 arrived as tourists, and 6,069 visited relatives.
Additionally, 92 individuals traveled for commercial activities, 68 for educational purposes, and 11 for medical treatment.
