Uzbek Senate Delegation to Visit Serbia on Official Trip

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A parliamentary delegation from Uzbekistan led by Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva will pay an official visit to the Republic of Serbia from 2–4 June this year.

During the visit, the delegation will take part in the Global Conference of Women Parliamentarians, which will be held in Belgrade and organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

A series of meetings is also scheduled between the Chair of the Senate and representatives of Serbia’s government and parliament.

Following the visit, a memorandum of understanding is expected to be signed between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia on interparliamentary cooperation.
