Uzbekistan Airports Discusses Aviation Development at COSPA Meeting
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan Airports has taken part in the third strategic review meeting of the Country Strategic Plan of Actions (COSPA), dedicated to the development of civil aviation and the strengthening of international cooperation.
The events were held from 25 to 27 May in Tashkent and Bukhara with the participation of international aviation organizations and experts.
Working meetings in Tashkent
On 25 May, working meetings were held in Tashkent with experts and representatives of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The discussions reviewed the results of COSPA initiatives and identified further priority areas for joint cooperation.
Conference in Bukhara
The main part of the program continued on 26–27 May in Bukhara, where the COSPA conference was held with the participation of ICAO representatives, the International Air Transport Association (IATA), ACI EUROPE, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States, as well as aviation organizations of Uzbekistan.
During the conference, participants discussed the development of the aviation sector, improvement of flight safety standards, implementation of international standards, and strengthening cooperation among key aviation stakeholders.
