Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A working meeting was held at Uzbekistan’s Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement with representatives of a GIZ expert mission under the “Effective Public Governance” program.

During the talks, the two sides discussed preparations for the second phase of the Good Governance Program, as well as the agency’s priority activities over the next three years and prospects for further cooperation.

The meeting brought together program representatives in Uzbekistan along with experts from GIZ’s headquarters in Germany.

Participants were briefed on the agency’s activities, its functions, key objectives, and strategic development plans.

Special attention was given to improving public administration systems, increasing transparency and efficiency, and strengthening anti-corruption measures.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue cooperation and maintain regular working dialogue on the outlined areas.
