Uzbekistan, Sudair Pharma discuss pharma cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks on May 2 in Riyadh with Yasser Ibrahim Al-Ubaida, CEO of Sudair Pharma, to discuss prospects for cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.

The meeting took place during a visit by the Uzbek delegation to Saudi Arabia. The discussions focused on opportunities to develop collaboration, including the localization of pharmaceutical production in Uzbekistan.

Following the talks, the Uzbek side invited Sudair Pharma to explore the potential of the national market and consider participating in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.

Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry expressed interest in achieving mutually beneficial outcomes and expanding practical partnerships with Saudi companies in the pharmaceutical industry.
