Saida Mirziyoyeva meets OSCE Secretary General

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, held talks with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu, focusing on strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

According to Mirziyoyeva, the OSCE Secretary General shared positive impressions from his recent visit to Uzbekistan and his meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He also reaffirmed the organization’s readiness to support initiatives proposed by the Uzbek side.

The discussions covered a broad range of areas of future cooperation, including countering transnational threats, digital development and artificial intelligence, youth policy, promotion of gender equality, and judicial and legal reforms.

Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding practical engagement and deepening institutional cooperation across priority sectors.

The meeting reflected ongoing efforts to strengthen Uzbekistan’s interaction with international organizations and advance reforms aligned with global standards.
