Syrdarya Region Studies China’s Advanced Agricultural Technologies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan, led by regional governor Erkinjon Turdimov, is on a working visit to China to study modern agricultural technologies and farming practices.

During the trip, the delegation visited Jiangguoguo Agricultural Technology in Kashgar and Shandong Shuifa Group located in Shule County.

The visit focused on production processes including processing, drying, and preparing agricultural products for export. Special attention was given to water-saving technologies, modern irrigation systems, and high-efficiency farming methods.

The Uzbek delegation also toured advanced greenhouse complexes, where discussions were held on improving crop yields, developing export-oriented agricultural production, and ensuring efficient use of water resources.

During meetings, both sides explored opportunities to implement China’s advanced agricultural experience in the Syrdarya region, as well as potential joint projects and expanded bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
