Tashkent Airport Parking Zones Put Up for Auction

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan Airports has put the right to lease parking zones at Tashkent International Airport up for electronic auction. The lot has been listed on the E-auksion.uz platform, with bidding scheduled to begin on 19 May 2026.

The package includes six parking areas labeled P1, P3, P4, P5, P7, and P8, with a total area exceeding 40,000 square meters and capacity for approximately 1,500 vehicles. The lease term is set for three years, with the future operator responsible not only for management but also for infrastructure development.

The project is aimed at improving passenger service quality. Planned upgrades include digital navigation systems, installation of display boards showing available parking spaces, expanded payment options, and the creation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The operator will also be responsible for 24/7 operation, maintenance, security, and modernization of the parking facilities.

A key requirement is the full digitalization of the parking management system. This includes automated control systems, license plate recognition, barrier installation, online payment options, and a mobile application with reservation functionality.

The lease fee will consist of a fixed component determined by the auction results and a variable component equal to 5 percent of the operator’s revenue. The operator will also be required to ensure transparency and provide access to reporting and accounting systems.

The starting annual price for the lot has been set at 48.78 billion soums. During the auction, the price may increase by at least 5 percent over the previous bid. All participation conditions and requirements for bidders are available on the E-auksion platform.
