Truck Trailer Fire on Tashkent–Osh Highway in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A trailer of a Scania truck caught fire in Pskent district of Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region on the A-373a “Tashkent–Osh” highway, while transporting a shipment of air conditioners.

According to preliminary reports, the trailer was completely destroyed by the fire. The truck’s tractor unit was successfully detached in time and did not sustain any damage.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Competent authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the fire and determining its cause.
