Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan foreign ministers discuss cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.

During the discussion, the sides noted the high level of strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries. They also highlighted the intensity of political dialogue, supported by trust-based relations and regular high-level contacts between the leadership of both states.

The ministers exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral agendas and confirmed their mutual interest in further expanding practical cooperation in areas of shared interest.

Following the conversation, the parties agreed to continue close dialogue between the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
