Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov held talks with Luca Brondelli di Brondello, Vice President of the Italian National Confederation of General Agriculture, focusing on expanding bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector and developing human capital.
The discussions primarily addressed the training of qualified specialists and seasonal workers for agriculture. Both sides emphasized that in the context of globalization, ensuring professional staffing for the agricultural sector has become one of the key challenges requiring a systematic approach.
Participants exchanged views on the need to expand educational programs, internships, and practical training for young specialists in line with modern agricultural production requirements. They also highlighted the importance of studying and implementing advanced agrotechnologies based on Italian experience.
During the talks, it was emphasized that human capital plays a decisive role in the development of the agricultural sector.
Priority areas of cooperation identified included the introduction of innovative technologies, improving production efficiency, and expanding the export potential of agricultural products.
