Uzbekistan and Russia Review Upcoming Bilateral Agenda Ahead of Visit
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan and Russia have reviewed a schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events during a meeting in Tashkent ahead of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s planned working visit to the Russian Federation on 4–5 June 2026.
According to Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions were held on 2 June 2026 between Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov and Russian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Alexey Yerhov.
The two sides exchanged views on current issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation and reviewed preparations for upcoming engagements at various levels of interaction.
Special attention was given to the forthcoming visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Russia, which is expected to include participation in events in Saint Petersburg.
As previously reported, the Uzbek president will visit Russia on 4–5 June 2026 and take part in official events in Saint Petersburg.
