Uzbekistan, China discuss industry and AI cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan held talks with Xiong Jijun, Deputy Minister of Industry and Information Technology of China, the Dunyo news agency reported.

During the meeting, the Uzbek side presented information on the country’s priority areas for industrial development, as well as measures being implemented under the “Digital Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy. The discussion covered the advancement of information and communication technologies, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and support for the digital economy.

The parties explored prospects for expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in industry, information technology, and artificial intelligence. Particular attention was given to the potential implementation of joint projects, as well as collaboration in training and upskilling specialists.

The sides also exchanged views on the introduction of new technologies in industrial production, the development of technological platforms, and the expansion of knowledge sharing between experts from both countries במסגרת bilateral cooperation.
