Uzbekistan Invites Qatari Firms to Tashkent Investment Forum
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held separate meetings in Doha with representatives of Qatar’s business community, including Artan Holding founder and chairman Natra Abdullah and Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company President Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Ansari. The talks focused on expanding investment and industrial cooperation.
During the meetings, both sides noted the growing role of the two companies in strengthening economic ties between Uzbekistan and Qatar, particularly in the industrial sector and investment projects. The discussions also covered prospects for greater involvement of Qatari businesses in bilateral cooperation.
A key outcome of the talks was an invitation extended to Qatari partners to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum, scheduled for June this year.
Both sides said the forum is seen as an important platform for strengthening business contacts and promoting new joint projects.
