Uzbekistan, Qatar Discuss Middle East Stability Talks
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting in Doha with Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for Defense Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
The talks focused on bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar, as well as the current international agenda.
The two sides noted the strong foundation of relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar, built on friendship, mutual trust and sustained political dialogue. During the meeting, they discussed the development of cooperation across various areas and further strengthening of the partnership.
Special attention was given to the situation in the Middle East.
The participants exchanged views on key regional and international issues, stressing the need for restraint, dialogue and diplomatic efforts to ensure stability and prevent further escalation of tensions.
