Huawei boosts AI infrastructure at GITEX Central Asia 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Huawei took part in the international exhibition GITEX Central Asia and Caucasus 2026 as a strategic sponsor and exhibitor, presenting a comprehensive approach to building infrastructure for the deployment of artificial intelligence across key sectors of the economy.
Speaking under the theme “Advancing Industrial All Intelligence,” the company highlighted a core challenge of the region’s current digital transformation phase: the need to establish an infrastructure base capable of ensuring scalable and sustainable AI deployment.
In this context, Huawei showcased solutions covering telecommunications networks, computing power, and digital energy as the foundation for a transition from digitalization to the intelligent transformation of industries.
At the exhibition, the company presented a systemic approach combining high-performance computing, low-latency networks, and energy-efficient data centers. Practical applications of these solutions were demonstrated across public administration, the oil and gas sector, financial services, and transport.
In public services, the focus was placed on the deployment of AI-based video analytics, integrated management systems, and intelligent judicial platforms aimed at improving decision-making efficiency.
In the oil and gas sector, Huawei’s solutions cover the entire production cycle, from geological exploration to infrastructure monitoring and digitalization of refining processes. In the financial sector, attention is focused on infrastructure enabling real-time data processing under high loads. In transport, the integration of 5G technologies, cloud solutions, and AI enables the creation of adaptive management systems with improved safety and efficiency.
As noted by Huawei President for Central Asia Jacky Zhang, as the discussion around artificial intelligence matures, the key factor is no longer access to technology but the readiness of infrastructure for its practical implementation. He also emphasized the importance of the “Huawei + Partner” strategy aimed at developing local ecosystems and improving the efficiency of digital project implementation.
As part of the event, the company organized five specialized forums and a series of expert sessions bringing together industry representatives, partners, and clients. Discussions focused on technological trends, challenges in AI deployment, and prospects for regional cooperation. Following the meetings, partnership negotiations were held and memorandums of understanding were signed.
Huawei’s participation in GITEX Central Asia and Caucasus 2026 reaffirmed its commitment to acting as a key regional partner in building infrastructure for artificial intelligence and the digital economy, where competitiveness is increasingly determined by the level of technological readiness of core systems.
