Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek startup Lidavex has won a regional stage of the international Startup World Cup competition, one of the world’s largest startup contests.

The project was founded by Kamola Mirjalilova and operates as a MedTech company focused on maternal and child health. Lidavex is developing a cervical data infrastructure, while its flagship device, CerviLite, uses LiDAR technology to collect real-time medical data during childbirth.

The collected data is used to train artificial intelligence systems and is applied in cervical cancer diagnostics, fertility monitoring, and perimenopause care.

The startup has already received support from international programmes, including JPMorgan, Stanford Biodesign, Google, and ULP, and is working with global healthcare integrator InterSystems.

According to organizers, the winner was selected unanimously, reflecting strong recognition of the project’s concept and scalability potential. Only 0.4% of Startup World Cup participants become regional winners, underscoring the level of competition.

During the event, investment interest in the project was expressed by one of the jury members, rapper OG Arabian Prince, a former member of N.W.A., who represents the Innov8 Capital fund.

Lidavex is also developing corporate integrations with InterSystems, which is used in several healthcare institutions in the United States. The company is also in talks to scale its maternal health solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Following the victory, Lidavex will represent the region at the Startup World Cup Grand Final, scheduled for 6 November 2026 in San Francisco.

More than 100 regional winners will compete in the final for the main prize of US$1 million.
