Uzbekistan Launches Unified Housing Registry UZKAD

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has launched a unified digital platform, UZKAD, for the acceptance, cadastral registration and state registration of multi-apartment residential buildings, representatives of the Chamber of State Cadastres said.

Since 1 June, all processes related to commissioning apartment buildings, cadastral registration and property registration have been carried out through the new system.

The platform was introduced as part of the launch of the “Register of Multi-Apartment Buildings” information system.

Previously, data on apartments, non-residential premises and common property within buildings were maintained separately. Under the new system, all information is consolidated into a single digital registry.

Each multi-apartment building is assigned a unified cadastral passport, including digital drawings displayed on an electronic map. This allows all real estate information to be integrated into a single database.

Applications for registering newly completed buildings are submitted via the my.gov.uz portal or public service centres. Once submitted, the data is automatically transferred to the UZKAD system for preliminary verification.

If deficiencies are identified, the application is rejected. If no issues are found, an on-site inspection is conducted to complete inventory and prepare the cadastral passport.

Officials say the system reduces human involvement, increases transparency, and accelerates cadastral registration processes by reducing paperwork and integrating fragmented data into a unified digital base.
