Uzbekistan, Malaysia expand cooperation in education projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 May, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Malaysia’s Minister of Higher Education Zamri Abdul Kadir to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation.

Special attention was given to the upcoming visit of a delegation led by Malaysia’s Queen Raja Zarith Sofiah. The sides noted that the visit is expected to provide additional momentum to the development of relations between the two countries.

During the talks, the two sides reached an agreement to fill political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, and collaboration in education with concrete practical projects.

The interlocutors confirmed their interest in expanding partnership and implementing joint initiatives in key areas of cooperation.
