Uzbekistan Revokes Insurance Broker License of LEO Finance
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s National Agency for Perspective Projects has decided to annul the insurance broker license of LLC LEO FINANCE SUG‘URTA BROKER, according to an announcement. The decision was made on May 6, 2026, with the license set to cease to be valid on May 10.
The annulment is based on Article 33 of the Law “On Licensing, Permits and Notification Procedures,” as well as a Cabinet of Ministers resolution dated February 21, 2022, which regulates licensing procedures for certain types of activities through a dedicated electronic system.
The company was originally granted a brokerage license on September 8, 2022, under registration number 038046. Following the entry into force of the decision, the company will no longer be authorized to operate as an insurance broker.
At the same time, the National Agency for Perspective Projects stated that LLC LEO FINANCE SUG‘URTA BROKER is required to fulfill all previously assumed obligations under existing contracts with policyholders, as well as agreements concluded within its intermediary activities in insurance and reinsurance.
