Uzbekistan’s Guliyev Wins Silver at World Cup Stage

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek canoeist Artur Guliyev has won a silver medal at the Canoe Sprint World Cup stage held in Szeged, Hungary.

In the 200-meter final, Guliyev recorded a time of 38.17 seconds, which secured him second place in the overall standings of the competition.

The race was won by Sergey Svinarev, competing under a neutral status, who finished in 38.05 seconds. Third place went to Spain’s Pablo Gran, who posted a time of 38.30 seconds.

Guliyev is the reigning world champion and is considered one of the leading athletes of Uzbekistan’s national team in sprint canoe disciplines.
