The talks focused on supplies of drilling equipment and the expansion of cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
The sides reviewed areas of cooperation, including the provision of geophysical services and the procurement of high-temperature-resistant downhole equipment. Special attention was given to projects aimed at improving technological efficiency in field operations.
At the beginning of the meeting, it was noted that Uzbekneftegaz and CNPC have recently developed close and trust-based partnership relations. It was emphasized that a number of mutually beneficial contracts have already been signed with organizations within the Chinese corporation, and practical work is underway on their implementation.
