FIFA President Wishes Uzbekistan Ahead of 2026 World Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — FIFA President Gianni Infantino has wished success to Uzbekistan’s national football team ahead of its first-ever appearance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In a post on his official Instagram page, the head of world football addressed the Uzbekistan national team, which will make its debut at the global tournament this summer in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

“I wish the Uzbekistan national team good luck at the FIFA World Cup this summer in North America — in Canada, Mexico and the United States. My most sincere wishes to the national team as it prepares for a historic debut on the world football stage. The Uzbekistan national team has qualified for the World Cup finals for the first time in its history and will take part in the 2026 tournament, which will be held in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
