Uzbekistan Showcases “Made in Uzbekistan” Stand in Bishkek

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A national “Made in Uzbekistan” stand was officially opened in Bishkek during the IV Meeting of Industry Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states, held on the sidelines of the first Ala-Too Trade & Industry Expo 2026 international exhibition.

The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov, Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov, as well as representatives of government bodies and business communities.

During the ceremony, Laziz Kudratov presented information on Uzbekistan’s industrial, investment and innovation potential, as well as achievements of domestic enterprises across various economic sectors.

The exhibition featured five key areas of the country’s technological development, including the electrical engineering sector, building materials production, automotive and chemical industries, as well as IT Park Uzbekistan projects. The displayed products attracted strong interest from participants.

The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan continues systematic efforts to promote national brands and develop international industrial cooperation.
