Fire Breaks Out at Wood Workshop in Bukhara, No Injuries Reported
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A fire broke out at a woodworking workshop in the early hours of 4 June in the city of Bukhara, according to the press service of the Emergency Situations Department of the Bukhara region.
The workshop, located in the “M. Tarabiy” mahalla, caught fire after a report was received through the emergency hotline 112 at 05:43 local time. Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 05:52.
The fire was contained at 06:02 and fully extinguished at 07:22, authorities said.
As a result of the incident, the workshop roof covering an area of 150 square meters and timber materials stored inside were damaged. No casualties or injuries were reported.
Specialists are currently working to determine the cause of the fire and assess the extent of the material damage.
