Healthcare Services in Uzbekistan Grow by 15%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Healthcare services in Uzbekistan increased by 15.1% in January–April 2026 compared to the same period last year, reaching approximately 7.3 trillion soums, according to the Statistics Committee.

The largest share of services was accounted for by other types of medical services, which made up 63% of the total volume. Hospital services represented 20.2%, while medical practice and dentistry accounted for 16.8%.

Tashkent recorded the highest volume of healthcare services in the country, reaching 3.3 trillion soums.

Significant figures were also recorded in other regions, including Tashkent region with 674.3 billion soums, Samarkand region with 549.2 billion soums, and Ferghana region with 488.1 billion soums.

In Andijan region, healthcare services totaled 329 billion soums, followed by Namangan region with 323.6 billion soums, Bukhara region with 282.6 billion soums, and Khorezm region with 270 billion soums.

Kashkadarya region recorded 263.5 billion soums, Surkhandarya region 191.2 billion soums, Jizzakh region 172.5 billion soums, and Syrdarya region 134 billion soums.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the figure reached 126.5 billion soums, while Navoi region recorded 118.4 billion soums.
