Kamilla Rakhimova exits Roland Garros singles draw

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek tennis player Kamilla Rakhimova has ended her campaign in the singles draw of the Roland Garros tournament in France, according to the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation.

In the second round, Uzbekistan’s top-ranked player faced world number 10 Karolina Muchova of the Czech Republic.

The match ended in a straight-sets victory for Muchova, 6–2, 6–2.

Despite her exit from the singles competition, Rakhimova will continue her participation in the tournament in the doubles draw.

In the opening round of doubles, she will partner with Anna Siskova against the pair of Nadia Kichenok and Makoto Ninomiya.
