Kizgaldok Street Closed for Two Days in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Traffic has been temporarily restricted on a section of Kizgaldok Street in Tashkent’s Almazar district due to asphalt resurfacing works.

According to the Centre for Traffic Organisation, the road is closed to all types of transport on the section from the intersection with the 9th dead-end of Uzumbog Street to Shifokor Street.

The restriction is in effect from 08:00 on 6 June to 20:00 on 7 June. After the completion of repair works, traffic is expected to resume in normal mode.

Drivers have been advised to plan alternative routes in advance and take the temporary restrictions into account when travelling.

The authority issued an apology for the temporary inconvenience caused by the roadworks.
