Uzbek Citizen Assisted to Return Home from Serbia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A citizen of Uzbekistan who found himself in difficult financial circumstances in Serbia has been returned to his home country with assistance from the Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Migration Agency, according to the information agency Dunyo.

The individual, identified by the initials T.Z., contacted the consular section of the embassy requesting assistance to return to Uzbekistan. He stated that the difficulties arose due to the failure of his employer in Serbia to fulfil contractual obligations.

The citizen reported that the employer did not meet agreed commitments, including those related to the processing of necessary documentation. As a result, he found himself in financial hardship and was unable to purchase a return ticket independently.

Following the appeal, the diplomatic mission established cooperation with the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan.

As a result of the measures taken, an airline ticket was purchased free of charge using funds from the Fund for Support and Protection of the Rights and Interests of Citizens Working Abroad.

The citizen was subsequently able to return to Uzbekistan.
