Uzbekistan’s Zafarjonov Wins Asian Weightlifting Gold in Snatch

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek athlete Sarvar Zafarjonov has won the gold medal in the snatch at the Asian Weightlifting Championships held in Gandhinagar, India, according to competition results in the 88 kg weight category.

The Uzbek lifter recorded a successful lift of 169 kg, outperforming competitors from China, North Korea and several other participating countries.

The victory in the snatch represents one of Uzbekistan’s notable achievements at the current Asian Championships, where athletes are competing for medals across various weight classes and disciplines.
